Learning Outside the Classroom: Visits, Trips and Clubs
Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) is a fundamental part of what makes St Laurence a great school. LOtC at St Laurence aims to provide our young people with inclusive, enjoyable, and memorable experiences that broaden their horizons and help them to become active citizens. These experiences are designed to develop the confidence and character of our young people, as well as promoting their physical, social, and emotional well-being. It aims to make students more aware of the environment and the part they can play in making our world more sustainable. It provides the opportunity to explore talents and develop the soft skills that will enable students to lead successful and fulfilling lives as adults. LOtC also seeks to encourage participation in our local community, through student leadership initiatives, volunteering, and charitable events. Overall, LOtC at St Laurence seeks to motivate our young people and inspire them to become responsible, respectful, and active citizens who can play their part and become actively involved in public life as adults.

St Laurence Extra
We offer a wide variety of activities for our students to enjoy. These range from sports training and competitions to music and drama sessions. Most clubs run from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
The majority of our clubs are run by our own staff and are free to St Laurence School students. Some of our activities, such as sporting events, rotate during the year to reflect the changing seasons.
